I am truly grateful I get to live a beautiful life with my hardworking husband, Darren and five children in Virginia. Darren and I have been married for 13 years and have been raising babies for the last 12. We both grew up in Ohio, but recently moved to Virginia, and have fallen in love with the mountains and the sunny weather. Darren works as a second shooter on wedding days and we love working together.

My love for photography started as a teenager, and when I was 16 my mom redid a room in our basement so I could have a studio.

I love to capture the genuine connection of families, and the beautiful moments that happen in the messiness of real life. Hearing people's stories is the best, and that's what keeps me in this business/hobby: the chance to build relationships with wonderful people and to photograph their most beautiful and meaningful moments is a privilege I truly don't take lightly.

Beyond photography, I love anything culinary, and would happily spend my days cooking nourishing food and baking all things sourdough. Quality, wholesome food is important to me, so we love to garden and raise our own food, and dream of having a small farm someday.

Flowers are another passion that bring me great joy, and every year I want to grow them all.

I love to read and study, and am starting to realizing that the story of God and His people is the most incredibly fascinating story of all, and nothing gets me more excited than understanding how different parts of His story fit together in ways I never knew before. There is NEVER enough time for all the things that could be explored in Scripture, and it puts me in AWE of a God, who created such an intricate and detailed storyline.
